Founded in 1988, Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates (GCRSA) is recognized for providing the highest quality of healthcare, utilizing state-of-the-art therapies for treating diseases of the colon and rectum throughout the metropolitan Atlanta Area and southeastern United States.

Our six surgeons are board-certified in both general and colon and rectal surgery; they specialize in state-of-the-art surgical techniques and medical treatment of anorectal diseases, constipation, defacatory disorders, hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and cancer of the colon and rectum.

GCRSA pioneered minimally invasive (laparoscopic) bowel surgery in 1990 and continues to advance this surgical technique with contributions to the literature and training programs.

Since 1999 GCRSA has become one of only fourty board-certified training programs in the field of colon and rectal surgery (fellowship) American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Through our training program our surgeons are part of research protocols on the local and national levels.
